QUENCHY — GEN Z COFFEE & BAKERY BRAND
Built a full brand identity for Quenchy, a coffee and bakery concept for Gen Z, from naming and logo to packaging and storefront design.

Problem :
Most coffee and bakery brands are designed around traditional cues, warm browns, classic serif logos, safe and familiar. Gen Z wanted something that felt current, playful, and shareable, a brand for people who want their coffee and quick bakery fix to feel like part of their identity, not just a transaction.

Solution :
I created Quenchy, a full brand identity built around a distinctive mascot, a face formed from croissant hair, closed eyes, and a coffee cup chin, paired with a bold purple and plum color system inspired by current Gen Z color trends. The identity extends across packaging, signage, and storefront design, with two packaging directions, a bold purple version for high visibility, and a clean white version for a premium café feel, showing the system works across contexts.

Challenge :
The biggest challenge was landing on a color palette that felt genuinely Gen Z without losing food and craving appeal, most trendy colors (like cool blues or pastels) work against appetite, while traditional food colors (orange, red, brown) can feel dated or overused. I went through several rounds of exploration, testing warm, neon, and pastel directions, before landing on a purple and plum system that felt bold, current, and still cohesive as a food brand.
Summary :
This was a personal branding project built to explore what a modern, Gen Z-first coffee and bakery brand could look like from the ground up. It reflects my full process, naming, logo design, color strategy, and packaging application, and demonstrates how thoughtful iteration can turn a simple concept into a complete, consistent brand system.
